Shopan Ata necropolis is located in shallow ravine, on the slope of a mountain. It includes an underground mosque the tomb of Shopon Ata, ancient tombsotones of the Oguz-Kipchak tribes of the 10-13 centuries, as weel as later burials of Shopon Ata, one of the most revered dervishes from Mangystau.

Kyzyl Kup swale got its name from the KyzylKup reservoir which was located in the northeastern part of the swale. Kyzyl Kup is unusual combination of chalk of different collors.
