This 3-day jeep tour is suitable for those who want to discover the wildest and most picturesque places in Mangistau – place known for its unique, natural beauty, and historical sites and spend the night in wild tents.
You will visit famous places such as:
- Bozjira – one of the most spectacular and dramatic natural sites in Mangystau, Kazakhstan. It’s part of the Ustyurt Plateau and is renowned for its striking landscapes, including large, white limestone cliffs, deep canyons, and unique rock formations.
- Tuzbair – a stunning and unique natural area in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan, located near the Bozjira cliffs and part of the larger Ustyurt Plateau.
- Torysh – another fascinating and unique natural site located in the Mangystau, specifically in the Ustyurt Plateau. Known for its dramatic rock formations, Torysh Valley is often referred to as the “Valley of Balls” due to the large, spherical rock formations that dot the landscape. This site is one of the most surreal and awe-inspiring places in the region, and a visit here is a must for those exploring the natural wonders of Mangystau.
Tour itinerary
At 09:00 depart from the hotel in Aktau.
You will visit Torysh – the valley of balls.Torysh Valley is often referred to as the “Valley of Balls” due to the large, spherical rock formations that dot the landscape.
After you will visit famous Sherkala and Airakty mountains, where you can take a fascinating photo of the mountains.
After you will visit Tuzbair lake – It’s known for its salt deposits and surreal desert landscapes, making it an incredible destination for nature lovers, photographers, and those looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure.

Beket Ata mosque – The Beket-Ata Mosque is one of the most significant religious and historical sites in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan.

1) Accommodation facilities
Usually yurts included in the itinerary will accommodate 4-5 pax, but upon your request we book for you single or 2 pax Yurt (twin)
Yurt camp in Temir Kanat village offers normal toilet facilities outside, there is no shower here. Toilet facilities are very simple.
2) Horses and luggage
You will use the Kyrgyz shepherds horses, because these horses are not so big and can make long distance. All horses will be aquipped with traditional saddles and this saddle bags provide enough space to take part your luggage where you can store your personal belongings.
Also, we can provide you additional horses for your luggage, if you want to take more luggage. 35 USD price per day for one horse.
3) What will you need for this tour
Rain gear, several pairs of warm socks, sunglasses, gloves, waterproof trekking boots, warm sweater, down jacket, sun cream, horse riding helmets and chaps.
We can provide you safety horse riding helmets and chaps. Cost of renting: Helmets – 2 USD / per day and chaps – 2 USD / per day
