Description
This 4 days trekking tour is created for those who want to explore the untouched nature in Kyrgyzstan on foot and enjoy picturesque views druing the hike. Your goal of the trekking tour will be the alpine lake Ala Kol, which is located at an altitude of 3560m above see level and surrounded by snowy mountains.
If you like living in a tent and enjoying wild nature far from the big city, than this tour is suitable for you!
Tour itinerary
Meeting with guide and driver in your hotel in Karakol, and transfer to Karakol gorge, from the first bridge we will start our trekking to Sirota hut. Camping in Sirota hut, cause this place is best place for camping!

Today we will have trekking to the high mountain lake – Ala Kol located at an altitude 3560m above see level. This lake is surrounded by very high snow peaks and glaciers, that`s why you will have beautiful view of surrounding nature.
Moving from Sirota hut to to Ala Kol lake takes about 3 hours. After the reaching the lake, you will go to waterfall flowing from the lake.
Camping in Keldike gorge. (3190m)

After breakfast, we will continue our hiking to Altyn Arashan valley – one the most beautiful valleys in Kyrgyzstan, which attracts many trekking and nature lovers. Altyn Arashan is famous for its hot spring so here you can enjoy not only amazing picturesque view, also you enjoy hot spring.
Overnight at the Yurt camp in Altyn Arashan

Let`s enjoy hot springs called “Lastochkino gnezdo” and after the breakfast, we will walk down to Ak Suu gorge from Altyn Arashan. In Ak Suu village, our car will pick you up and bring you to your Karakol hotel you stay.

Equipment and items for trekking:
Rain gear, sleeping bag up to -4C, several pairs of warm socks, sunglasses, gloves, waterproof rain jacket and trousers, waterproof trekking boots, warm sweater, warm clothes and extra clothes to exchange, down jacket, sun cream, cap and hat, bottle for water, head torch, towel, toiletries, pocket knife, walking sticks, daypack 40-50 litters, diamox pills agains potential altitude sickness.

1) Accommodation facilities
Usually yurts included in the itinerary will accommodate 4-5 pax, but upon your request we book for you single or 2 pax Yurt (twin)
Yurt camp in Temir Kanat village offers normal toilet facilities outside, there is no shower here. Toilet facilities are very simple.
2) Horses and luggage
You will use the Kyrgyz shepherds horses, because these horses are not so big and can make long distance. All horses will be aquipped with traditional saddles and this saddle bags provide enough space to take part your luggage where you can store your personal belongings.
Also, we can provide you additional horses for your luggage, if you want to take more luggage. 35 USD price per day for one horse.
3) What will you need for this tour
Rain gear, several pairs of warm socks, sunglasses, gloves, waterproof trekking boots, warm sweater, down jacket, sun cream, horse riding helmets and chaps.
We can provide you safety horse riding helmets and chaps. Cost of renting: Helmets – 2 USD / per day and chaps – 2 USD / per day
