This 5 days Kyrgyzstan horse riding tour will take you to the most picturesque nature places, where you can get an unforgettable impressions not only from horse riding, also from our untouched nature and authentic nomad culture in Kyrgyzstan. During the tour you will have a great chance to explore beautiful parts of Kyrgyzstan such as snow caped mountains, alpine lakes, green pastures, forests and gorges by horses and go to remote mountain village located in Chon Kemin valley, where you can experience the real Kyrgyz life. Chon Kemin nature park was established in 1997, total area 5000 hectares.
This tour is suitable for horse riding beginners who don`t have much experience, that’s why you make day trip and return to guest house. Depending on your wish, you can prolong the horse riding hours.
Tour itinerary
Bishkek – Chon Kemin national park
Meeting in the hotel with your guide and driver. After you will be transferred to Chon-Kemin national park. Chon Kemin is a picturesque valley with rich nature, located only 2.5 hours from Bishkek and it is the best place for horseback riding.
Lunch in the guest house and after you can enjoy 3 hours horse riding in Chon Kemin valley. You can feel the real untouched nature of Kyrgyzstan.

Horse riding in Chon Kemin valley
After breakfast, you will enjoy horse riding in the beautiful mountains and go to famous lake named “Green Lake” (3190m). Here you will have a picnic lunch and it is great chance to admire wild nature of Kyrgyzstan from here. Return to guest house. Dinner.

Chon Kemin – Temir Kanat village(2300m), horse riding
After breakfast we will depart to Issyk Kul lake by car(south side). Horse riding from Temir Kanat village to Yurt camp located at plateau above the village. It is ideal place to admire the snow capped mountains and amazing view of the lake. Also you can taste fermented mare milk named “Kymyz” in this yurt camp. Dinner

Horse riding
After breakfast you will ride a horse in the nature with rich flora and fauna, and if you want more long riding than you can reach the glacier located in the south of the yurt camp. Return to yurt camp and taste authentic Kyrgyz national food for dinner.

Departure to Bishkek
After breakfast you will return to the capital of Kyrgyzstan – Bishkek. On the way visiting UNESCO world heritage – Burana tower and Ak Beshim ruins. Burana is an architectural complex of the 11e century survived from the Great Silk Road. Here you can see reconstructed 24 meter Burana minaret, archeological museum and grave stones – Balbal. Transfer to Bishkek. Dinner. Back to the hotel

1) Accommodation facilities
Usually yurts included in the itinerary will accommodate 4-5 pax, but upon your request we book for you single or 2 pax Yurt (twin)
Yurt camp in Temir Kanat village offers normal toilet facilities outside, there is no shower here. Toilet facilities are very simple.
2) Horses and luggage
You will use the Kyrgyz shepherds horses, because these horses are not so big and can make long distance. All horses will be aquipped with traditional saddles and this saddle bags provide enough space to take part your luggage where you can store your personal belongings.
Also, we can provide you additional horses for your luggage, if you want to take more luggage. 35 USD price per day for one horse.
3) What will you need for this tour
Rain gear, several pairs of warm socks, sunglasses, gloves, waterproof trekking boots, warm sweater, down jacket, sun cream, horse riding helmets and chaps.
We can provide you safety horse riding helmets and chaps. Cost of renting: Helmets – 2 USD / per day and chaps – 2 USD / per day
